My trans journey began in high school when I was a freshman. I definitely showed signs when I was an egg for a long time, but it was when I was a freshman that I realized. I never felt like being a girl was right, and always appeared more masculine. I didn't know what it meant to be trans. I found out online what it meant and everything suddenly made sense. I realized pretty quickly from that point that I was a man. I began to hide my long hair at school and dress super masculine. I did not have a binder, so I always wore hoodies. I was closeted at that point, and soon came out to my parents. Covid then hit, making it difficult to be around my house because I wasn't fully accepted. But, things got better over time and I came out to all my friends and family. Most of it went really well, except for coming out to my dad. I'm working towards being better every day. I look forwards to fully transitioning someday!
